I started cycling in 1975, when I joined the local club, North Notts Olympic Road Club.
I rode Time Trials every season from then until 2001, when I was diagnosed with Parkinson's.
I continued to cycle for pleasure until 2025, when I decided to hang up my wheels.
In 2015, aged 60, along with my daughter, Joanne, my son Kevin and nine of my cycling friends.
We raised £8,000 for the Parkinson's society, by ascending the iconic climb of Alpe du Huez in the French Alps.
When I stopped competing in 2001, I decided to keep involved with the Time Trialling scene by taking photographs of my cycling friends from the East Midlands and South Yorkshire area's.
These days I travel much further afield to Time Trial events.
